Weather Data Sources

London Weather aggregates forecast data from multiple national meteorological providers via the Open-Meteo API. Primary sources include:

• UK Met Office (UKMO) — high-resolution UK grid (2 km), updated hourly
• ECMWF IFS — global model (9 km), updated every 6 hours
• DWD ICON — European model (7 km), updated every 3 hours
• NOAA GFS — global model, updated hourly

Data Freshness

Weather data is fetched from the Open-Meteo API and cached locally for 15 minutes on sm.gyro.deals. Conditions displayed may be up to 15 minutes behind the latest model run.

Accuracy & Disclaimers

Weather forecasting is probabilistic. Accuracy decreases with forecast range. We display model output without modification. Users should not rely solely on London Weather forecasts for safety-critical decisions.
